Meet Karen A. Brown
Karen is a daughter, an auntie who stepped in to support her nieces when their mom died, a sister friend, and an advocate for women of color entrepreneurs. She loves collaborating with her business besties.
Hailing from Northern Virginia, Karen defied familial expectations and pursued higher education, becoming the first college graduate in her family. This decision began a remarkable journey filled with resilience and determination.
Overcoming early adversities, Karen's unwavering drive propelled her towards a career in pension administration, where her expertise in accounting and law intersected. However, her professional trajectory didn't end there. She transitioned into leadership roles within two million-dollar enterprises, showcasing her ability to identify operational inefficiencies and streamline processes.
In January 2023, Karen made a significant move that aligned her 30 years of business experience with her desire to empower women of color to build sustaining businesses on the proper foundation. She joined Rachel Rogers' Hello 7 Coaching Certification Program, teaching marginalized entrepreneurs how to grow their businesses to seven figures.
