Karen spent 14 years as the administrator of a $24M trust for businesses located in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.  She used her expertise to advocate for over 350 companies during her tenure.  One of her accomplishments while managing the assets and day to day operations offering health, dental, vision, life, and additional ancillary benefits to over 5,000 employees was rate increases that were lower than the regional average.

She is an active member of Health Underwriters Association (NAHU) and National Association of Professional Agents (NAPA) as well as Employee Healthcare Benefits Associate designation from America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).
